Не могу установить обновление KB2670838 (Обновление платформы для Windows 7)
Не могу установить обновление windows 10
Стоит режим автоматического обновления,судя по журналу было уже 8 попыток установить обновление,но.
Как установить отдельное обновление для windows 7?
Кроме сабжа я так же не нашел где можно вытянуть конкретный update KB_XXXXXXX. В «цнтре обновления».
Не могу установить обновление
Скачиваю Visual Studio. Начинаю инсталляцию. Мне сообщение — «Требуется пакет обновления Windows XP.

KB2670838 Platform update for Windows 7 SP1 — Error 80070005
I want to update ie9 to ie11. For this I need to install KB2670838. When I try to install it, the laptop restart and start configure. When he reachs 98% he say «fail to install». He restart and start configure again till 98% and failed again. He restart normal and when I look in Update history I see error 80070005.
OS: Win 7 SP1 64bit
User is administrator
video adaptor : Intell HD Graphics — driver: igdumd64 — version: 8.15.10.2622

Can someone help me to install that patch?

Optional Windows Update KB2670838 stopped me from selecting values from drop down lists in IE9 and IE10, so had to uninstall it and hide it in Windows Update, WHY?
Was working away happily one night when suddenly I couldn’t select any values from drop down lists in IE9, lists I use daily at sites used allday. I had just looked at a humerous email and immediately thought virus, but after trying all my virus softwares, nothing, so rebuilt PC from an Acronis image backup, and all OK, then applied all available windows updates available since the date of the image, all working fine, then suddenly. problem back.
So, uninstalled the just applied updates one by one, and finally, took out KB2670838 and all worked OJ again.
THANKS MR MICROSOFT! Have always been a supporter, but this took 2 days of my life, and some trus I had in microsoft.

It looks KB 2670838 is causing few problems in Internet Explorer.
Let’s install this particular update in clean boot state and by disabling antivirus to confirm if this update is causing this issue. You may manually install this update from Microsoft Download center.
Step 1: Place the computer in clean boot and check for the issue.
