Conky is a free, light-weight system monitor for X, that displays any kind of information on your desktop.
Conky can display more than 300 built-in objects, including support for:
- A plethora of OS stats (uname, uptime, CPU usage, mem usage, disk usage, «top» like process stats, and network monitoring, just to name a few).
- Built-in IMAP and POP3 support.
- Built-in support for many popular music players (MPD, XMMS2, Audacious).
- Can be extended using built-in Lua support, or any of your own scripts and programs (more).
- Built-in Imlib2 and Cairo bindings for arbitrary drawing with Lua (more).
- Runs on Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, DragonFlyBSD, NetBSD, Solaris, Haiku OS, and macOS!
. and much much more.
Conky can display information either as text, or using simple progress bars and graph widgets, with different fonts and colours.

Instead of 0.9.5 please download this (0.9.9).
This version contains various fixes compared to 0.9.5 and does not crash or fail to be mounted.
We are very close to 1.0 but there’s still some work to do.

This version brings HUGE improvements over the previous ones.
This should have been released a lot sooner but. things always get in the way of development, don’t they?
Please note that this release should be considered experimental! Although I advise you to try it out as you will be able to wield its awesome power, you should be aware that bugs may exist. For this reason, issue reports are welcome!!
NOTE: All versions prior v0.9 should be considered obsolete; we are no longer using Homebrew.

This is a must-have version! Make sure to get it.
Some bugfixes are also going to be backported to this version as a sign of support to the version.

- Also, provide a .dmg for better compatibility with macOS Sierra and later.

🐆 LEOPARD RELEASE 🎆
Yes, you heard it RIGHT! Its an OSX Leopard release (compiled for 10.5.2)
I don’t really know how I decided to do this, but I did.
And now you can probably run conky on your ultra old mac running Leopard.
This is an Intel executable.
You will just have to install the dependencies using Tigerbrew.
Some of these libraries may require patching the equivalent Tigerbrew recipes.
This is an alpha version. Most of the stuff does not work. 🙂 Hang in there! I may get some stuff working.

ManageConky is the implementation of conky-manager for macOS.
It offers on the mac what conky-manager offers on linux plus alot more (exclusive) amazing features.
You can use shortcuts to improve the experience:
⌘P Open Conky Preferences
⌘T Open Conky Themes
R Run/Restart a Widget/Theme
S Stop a Widget/Theme
⌘A Stop All Widgets / Themes (depending on view)
E Edit Code
H Hide element from ManageConky
⌘O Open in File Manager
To install grab the Latest Release.
Make sure to take care of the «Requirements», too! Conky won’t work without them.
Follow this (relatively) small guide.

ConkyX is a quick-launcher for conky for macOS
It offers the ability to run conky with just a double-click, eliminating the use of the terminal.
This project is supplied as part of ManageConky, the app for managing conky widgets on mac.
