This is not unusual for Win10 downgrades. However, there are several options that may resolve the problem. Let’s try the easiest first.

Go to http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers. Enter your machine’s SNID or Aspire 5755g and download either the Win7 atheros or broadcom bluetooth driver zipfiles. Unzip the files. And then run the installation file in «Win7 compatibility mode» .

Report back with results.

My symptoms were: A) Bluetooth stopped working; *B) The Bluetooth radio button was missing in settings; and C) There were no Bluetooth devices in Device Manager. This is what finally worked for me after restoring the system and reinstalling the latest driver from the Acer website had failed to solve it:

1) Open Device Manager.

2) Within Device Manager, reveal items listed under «Universal Serial Bus» by clicking the symbol just to its left. In my case, this revealed an entry for something called «Unknown Device» or something similar which had been shut down by Windows due to a reported error.

3) Disable the unknown device by right clicking it and selecting «Disable Device».

4) Enable the unknown device by the same method.

5) Open settings > Bluetooth & other devices.

6) Confirm that the radio button for Bluetooth has returned and that it is set to «on».

How to fix no Bluetooth on V3-571G on Win 10

I have an Aspire V3-571G — NXRZKEK001. When i upgraded the laptop to Windows 10, the Bluetooth feature stopped working. WiFi appears to be working perfectly and i’ve not had any issues with it.

Below are screen shots of the device manager. Since there are no issues shown, i assume Bluetooth is intergrated in to the Qualcomm Artheros? I assume it’s an issue with an incorrectly driver installed? Which driver should be installed?

Just a short question. Did you have launch manager on windows 8? And you had a sort of key combination (eg FN+something) to enable selectively the bluetooth and/or the wireless?

If yes, that would mean that when you upgraded you had the bluetooth disabled and now is disabled, and from personal experience (on other notebook not your model) launch manager will not work. Thus the only idea in my head is to install somehow, on a partition another older OS, on which launch manager worked previously and then enable the bluetooth. I think it will remain enabled and windows 10 will be able to use it. But I cannot be sure about it, it’s just an idea. If you make it work you can always delete the partition with the other OS and then come back to windows 10.

Interesting. So i assume you’re implying that this is a setting within the hardware from the OS?
I would have thought that Windows would have told the hardware the settings each time the computer is started.

I don’t have my old installation of Windows 8. Does it matter if i use a stock version of Windows 8?

The laptop has a function key with a number of hardware related keys — speaker volume, screen brightness, wireless, trackpad, etc.

I can’t remember if i did have bluetooth disabled but it is very possible with the idea of saving battery life. So it’s very possible.

For my previous OS, and launch manager, when I hit FN+F3(i think this was the key combination) the launch manager would bring up a menu, where I can selectively turn on the wireless and the bluetooth, independently one of another.

If you had the similar situation, then probably a windows 8 install, and launch manager enabling could make the bluetooth visible again in windows 10 as well.

However I cannot be sure that it will work in your case.

You can install any stock windows 8, but you will need to manually add the drivers and launch manager from http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

Thanks! I didn’t realise that things like the launch manager would be available via the drivers section of Acer’s website.

Recently i was trying to activate the bluetooth as well since it did not even show up in the device manager after windows 10 upgrade.After reading a bunch of forums and watched pretty much all the video guides available with no luck i started trying various steps and eventualy i appeared!

I will try to explain what steps i did in order to see if you can get it as well.

First of all i downloaded the drivers for windows 8.1 in acer drivers section of my model(acer v3 771g).

Both atheros and Broadcomm. On Broadcomm drivers there are 2 setup files one will tell you that there is no device for installation the other will proceed.

After the installation i went to services and set the bluetooth to active (auto)

No bluetooth in device manager BUT after pressing Fn+F3 a bunch of times suddenly bluetooth activated and it popped out in device manager as well at windows 10 settings under the devices page!

I hope all you that have the same problem i had will work the same way it did to me and fix this prolem!

Проблема с bluetooth у ноутбука Acer Extensa 2520G
Куплен был с Windows 10, но после выхода печально известного обновления Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (версия 1709), ноут ушёл в вечную перезагрузку.
Windows 7-64 устанавливать не стал, т.к. нужно было разбивку диска переделать обратно в MBR, а это требовало полной очистки диска (некуда было сбросить данные), поэтому поставил Windows 8.1-64.
Драйвера для тех устройств, которые не определились после установки, брал от Win7-64 с официального сайта. В целом всё работает, кроме тачпада и bluetooth.

Чип bluetooth — QCNFA335.
Launch Manager установил, Fn+F3 включает и отключает только «режим в самолёте».
В диспетчере устройств есть Generic Bluetooth Adapter.
Драйверов bluetooth на официальном сайте Qualcomm Atheros нет. Проверял. Драйвер от Lenovo не подошёл.
Все попытки установить рекомендуемые в этом разделе форума драйвера не увенчались успехом. Установщик пишет «у вас уже есть более свежая версия».
BT suite отсутствует, отдельно как программу, а не в составе драйвера, пока не нашёл.

Подскажите пожалуйста, что ещё можно предпринять в данном случае, чтобы bluetooth заработал?
